Coins come from playing: games, wins, goals and assists pay more the tougher the opponents, and the daily challenges and day streak pay best. The rarest gear also has to be earned on the ice before it can be bought. Gear changes how you look and sound, never how you play. Coins are only ever earned by playing. Gems are the paid currency, for the season pass and for skipping a wait; they never buy an advantage.
Admin profile: every item is unlocked and free, the premium pass and tier skips cost nothing, and gem packs are granted without a charge.
